Crito Culture
The Crito Culture is a life style guide line on the way this society lives. As the world around us changes, so must we. One of the rules that separate us from the normal human culture is obedience. We must obey our laws and tradition. This is why we are still around today. We have over come many triumphs and tribulations. This society has been around for more than a100 years. There are several others like us .Some may range with a different culture. The only known count ranges is just 8 million world wide, these are the cultures that are not hiding. We have others that are not accounted for. We have been cursed by man and the animal kingdom. We are the adaptation of mother earth’s womb. Some humans say we are demons that guard the diabolical animal. Some animals scent that we are too human. We are neither. We are a chosen species placed here by earth. We have the ability to speak, think and take on human forms, but on the true inside we are able to sense the human emotions. We do not always connect well with others that are plain humans. At a very young age most of us can already feel the difference between us and the plain humans. We the Night Dog culture ,when we reach puberty we go threw a stage called Were- Hibernation .Were- hibernation is when we have long hours of sleep threw out the day and night. The average time of hibernation threw out the day would be from 7to 11 hrs. Females usually loose appetites and will become sexually aroused more. Smells become stronger threw the nose, hearing improves, and our sense of emotion is usually imbalanced. Females will become more agitated during puberty. About 25% of therians will hit a depression surge between the ages of 9-14. Many males will began there surge during there preteen years. Females tend to take longer. An average NightDog female will feel and sense her surge around age 16. Males will become hostile and sexually aware. A NightDog male can smell a female from up to ten feet away. Males will become more hostile during hibernation. But once a true NightDog hits a surge they will never be the same ever again. This can take place at any time in a person’s life. When this happens we are usually exiled from our families, friends, and communities. Some times our parents will know sometimes they don’t. Can a person be the only one in there family that experiences this? The answer is yes. It can be genetic or by natures choice.
A Surge
When you have a surge it will usually occur after hibernation. A surge can feel like a thousand ton bomb that bursts inside of you giving your body pure energy. It occurs when the moon is full; this doesn’t haft to be a night all the time. A surge can happen during the day if the moon is present. The energy can be transformed in to many emotions and physical traits. Physical traits are your therian identity. This is the connection you have with your animal identity. Night Dogs identify themselves with Wolfs, Dogs, and others from the K9 kingdom. Some NightDogs can be hybrids. When surges hit you your body can become numb, cold or hot, sweaty, tingly, body vibe rations will occur in the brain and blood flow, moody, strong sexual appetite, bizarre food cravings will occur. Some will feel body hair in unusual places like the feet. Many of us have experienced paw like feelings on our hands and feet, excessive nail growing and claws. A lot of us in our vocals will want to howl and growl. Our smell will grow stronger our feelings will tap in to others. We will become emotional. When you get that craving for bizarre food you will need to eat. What you eat is up you. How you will cope will be a challenge. The cravings and the nature to hunt will not go away, but it is controllable. Scratching Biting, and mating is controllable too. We are responsible for our actions. Insomnia will occur once you start the surge cycle. It can last for up to three days or years. Most of us put on weight. You will see a large number of us that are over weight. Obesities are rare. You will need protein during your surge. Some Therians have experienced a period of forgetfulness and memory loss. Not every one experiences the same syndromes. There are several types of surge syndromes. Depending upon your culture your experience may vary.
How to Cope With the Surges
Coping with surges can be difficult at times; we don’t always experience similar situations with our surges. Most of us cope by joining those who are similar like us. When we associate with our pack members we give each other emotional support. Some of us will need emotional support. A large society of us will get together so that we can express our animal behavior toward one another. Some of us write out our experiences .Some express it in art, music etc… When you surge and it’s during an insomnia sleep period in your life try to exercise or do something active. Some of us keep strong lasting relationships in order to deal with the sexual urge to mate. Many of us snack on jerky meat and raw meat, and safe pure blood. Remember protein is an important part of your diet. Running can help. Being in a creative setting is good to. If you feel yourself pulling in others energies you can meditate to cope with the orgasmic feeling. Don’t take your aggressive feelings out on other humans and animals. If you feel severely agitated lock your self away from others. Go on a long drive or take an active walk in the country or something. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from pack members. Our elders do understand. When you’re having a spiritual surge just go with it don’t fight it. A spiritual surge is when you have a deep connection with your inner animal. You will know this surge because it only happens a few times with in your life period. It’s not like an ordinary surge that happens during the lunar energy. There is nothing fear during a surge.

Leaders must lead according to their role, and all leaders must have dominance, knowledge, faith, integrity. Leaders must lead with a full iron paw.
Never give public information on individuals in your society .Such as real names, identities, where they live. Discretion is always used no matter what. Many humans will not understand us. They will call us crazy, they will fear us, and they will turn against us simply because they just don’t understand. Safety is always an issue.
Never force members in your pack to do anything that’s illegal, immoral and dangerous to them self’s, the pack or to society.
Never force your ways upon the pure generation. Children are always pure at heart. Just educate the youth and guide them and always love them. But when the youth is unruly and unjust use wise discipline to get them back on track.
Always Respect your elders, they are our future and our past.
Always respect the pact
The pack can have freedom of speech, religion and new law.
Hunt as a pack, Fight as a pack. Strength is greater in numbers. Love as a pack. When the pack is divided it will fall and fail.
The pack must educate your self’s upon the new changing world. Learn to adapt and blend with the new world. You do not always haft to agree with the new world.
Never fornicate with those beneath your mate. Once you are married you must mate for life. Mating is a key to survival. Never disrespect your mate, or abuse your mate. Don’t be disloyal or take your mate for granted. If your mate passes away you must wait a year and you must mourn your loss. You can not have two mates at the same time. You can not divorce, once mated you mate for life. Mating is a pack ritual.
Offspring must be adapted in to the pack. If offspring doesn’t belong simply send them away.
The Pack must take care of each other .If one of us fails we all fail. If one of us succeeds we all succeed.
The Pack must pray together.
Respect the full moon
Never kill out of spite, anger, jealously. Killing is man made sin.
Always love God your creator. Follow Gods will for you.
The pack can’t and will not discriminate against each other. Peace is Gods love.
Respect the food chain, nature and protect earth.
Elder leaders must have a respectable funeral and burial.
Never steal from your pack members.
What are the Signs
Pack members cannot be recognized by color, sex, religion or any other human connection. Pure pack members know each other by our smells, and energies that we give off. We can naturally sense each other. All members of the pack have surges. Pack members are usually born with an imprint to the body. These people will not be noticed and can blend in with the environment. Pack members can be considered to be anti social, arrogant, sexual and angry. But each member has there own unique sign that sets them apart. Even within our d.n.a. make up you will find a slight uniqueness. We have unique body temperatures and eating habits. We are truly unique in nature.
Where did this culture come from?
The pack culture originated from Africa, Europe, Mexico, Asia and later the new Americas (United States and South America). There are legends also leading from the island culture as well. The original legend is stated that in the beginning when humans were growing and traveling the earth before the archaic times, there was a tribe that relied on the land for food. The land went threw a change and a drought formed. The tribe was lacking in food and protection from preditorial animals and rival tribes. The people of the tribe prayed to God for guidance and help so that they may have food for the tribe. A large stroke of light flung from the full moon and a creature in the form of a dog was standing on a cliff peering down at the tribe. The natives were frightened at first, but they soon realized that the creature had a unique mark and look to it. Its eyes were almost human like. The creature never spoke human sounds. It only spoke human thoughts. The creature hunted at night bringing plentiful meat. This dog guarded the tribe at night from predators and rival tribes. During the day the beast rested in the form of a man, walking on two legs but sleeping during the day. The natives made a dogan hut for the animal. The hut was cave like with clay and sticks and stone. But it had a symbol on the side that had the image of the dog. The two spears had dog markings and a moon image. The natives gave this mysterious creature from the moon a name. Dog of night aka NightDog
During the half moon the creature would take on mates from the tribe. The females would give birth to babies that were human formed, but they had instincts and ways like the Dog of Night. The children carried on the way for generations .The other members of the tribe took on the NightDogs hunting skills. The tribe worshiped the creature. As humans began to evolve wars between rival tribes would emerge changing the life style of the tribe members. A massive war broke out and the tribe was captured and enslaved. But years later that tribe was enslaved and the people carried on the dog of night’s instincts, thoughts and ways. His children reproduced and when European rule came in to the tribe more off spring was spread out threw out the world. This legend was formed out of Africa. The hyena is an example of spirit walkers. Many Africans say they can steal your human soul. Asia has similar tales and Europe. The NightDogs were carried on ships to America. The Native Americans had similar tales of people who had spirits like animals, and who had human animal forms.
